KARACHI: A woman and a child were killed and six others injured when a speeding car rammed into a rickshaw in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in the wee hours of Friday. According to rescue sources, a fast-moving car hit a rickshaw in Shehbaz commercial area of the DHA. Police said that the accident occurred in Shehbaz commercial area the car while attempting a sharp turn without reducing speed rammed into the rickshaw. They said the car driver was arrested from the spot. The bodies and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for autopsies and treatment, respectively.
