[James Omoro, Standard]Two people were on Saturday, July 10 killed and two others injured after a truck carrying cement rammed into a residential house in Homa Bay town. Odero’s two sons aged 15 and 10 respectively were rushed to Homa Bay County Referral Hospital in critical conditions. Homa Bay Town Central MCA Julius Nyambok called on the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) to erect bumps on the Homa Bay–Kendu Bay road and Homa Bay–Rongo Road to reduce the number of accidents in the area. Homa Bay Township Sub-Location Assistant Chief Dancun Odhiambo said the truck driver disappeared after the accident.
