OUR BUREAURaiganj: Two persons, one from Trinamul and the other from the Congress, have died in violence related to panchayat polls in Malda in the past two days. Nayan Mondal, 20, died when a group of suspected CPM and Congress supporters attacked him in Malda on Saturday night. The attackers first shot Mondal, a Trinamul worker, in the head and then lobbed bombs at him, sources said. Congress worker Pancha Mushahar succumbed to injuries at Malda Medical College and Hospital on Sunday. Mushahar and seven others suffered injuries when bombs were hurled at them in Malda on Friday night.
