A businessman and a private security guard were on Sunday night shot dead in a robbery at a house in Karen, Nairobi. The gang of four armed with AK 47 rifles raided the homestead and robbed the man of gold and unknown amount of cash. The man was shot in the leg twice while the guard was shot in the stomach when they responded to the alarm raised by the trader. In another incident, a suspected thug wasshot dead on Monday at Pangani in a botched robbery incident. The suspect was in the company of three others and had been robbing motorists and pedestrians when an alarm was raised.
