Two killed, 23 injured in 2 traffic accidents at Red Sea governorate


Two people were killed and 23 were injured in two separate traffic accidents on Saturday on Red Sea roads. In the first incident, two people were killed and 18 others left injured in a microbus crash on the Ras Ghareb – Hurghada road. In the other accident, five people were injured in a car crash, with ambulances rushing the injured to Ras Ghareb Central Hospital for treatment. Egypt loses about 12,000 lives to traffic accidents every year. It has a road traffic fatality rate of 42 deaths per 100,000 population, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
