Two key reasons why the Kiwis might struggle against Australia

By Michael Burgess in BirminghamThe Kiwis have to overcome a significant hoodoo against the Kangaroos this weekend. The last time New Zealand beat Australia without either Mannering or Foran on the field was back in 2005, when the Kiwis recorded a brace of famous wins in the Tri Nations. Mannering was present for the 2008 World Cup final win in Brisbane, and the Four Nations victory the following year at the same ground. Australia are masters at creating holes - better than any other team in the world - but Mannering is pretty good at closing them. Today the Kiwis completed a second training session at Manchester City's Etihad Campus, before making the journey south to Birmingham.
