One person has been critically injured and another seriously injured in a crash between a car and a truck north of Sanson in Manawatū. Emergency services were called to the crash at 9.05am on Wednesday on State Highway 1 between Sanson and Ōhakea. The crash happened between Fagan and Frecklington roads. A St John spokeswoman said one person was seriously injured and another was critical, and they were both taken to Palmerston North Hospital. The road was down to one lane, with the northbound lane cordoned off, and New Zealand Transport Agency has advised motorists to expect delays.
