Two people Sunday escaped death after a light aircraft that they had boarded crashed in Baringo County. The pilot and his passenger were evacuated to the hospital after the morning incident, police said. The aircraft crashed while preparing to land at the Kampi ya Samaki airstrip, which is close to Lake Baringo, witnesses and police said.
