Addressing the press at Kenmosa Hotel in Eldoret Town after escaping unhurt, Mr Buzeki accused his political rivals of orchestrating the attack. Police were forced to shoot in the air to disperse the rowdy youths who hurled stones at Mr Buzeki’s convoy. Mr Buzeki said that he had arrived in the town to thank his supporters for voting for him during the party primaries. Mr Buzeki said that the Jubilee Party with its headquarters in Pangani, Nairobi County will give him the verdict today (Sunday). Mr Buzeki has petitioned the county security team to launch a probe into the incident with a view of bringing the culprits to book.
