Two people are in hospital after a serious crash in Matakana just before midnight on Friday. Police responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Matakana Valley Rd at 11.47pm, between Torea Rd and Long Meadow Rd. Both occupants of the vehicle were taken to Auckland Hospital. The Serious Crash Unit was notified.
