NewsTwo persons, including a woman, have been arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) in connection with the attack on a prison bus in Kalutara on February 27. Five prisoners and two prison guards were killed in the attack. Police Headquarters said the woman, who was arrested from Walahanduwa in Galle, had allegedly provided refuge to one of the attackers. Five police teams under the supervision of Senior DIG (Crimes and Traffic) Western Province, Nandana Munasinghe are currently investigating the case. Special measures have also been initiated to prevent the suspects fleeing the country by boat, police added.
