Share TweetBy Jeffrey DamicogA Jordanian national and his Filipina live-in partner were arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for having duped around 100 victims with false promises of work in Dubai. NBI spokesman Deputy Director Ferdinand Lavin identified the arrested suspects as Jordanian Ali Moh Khalil Tarrish and Myrla Olor. The arrests were made based on the complaints filed before the NBI by around 100 of their victims. The NBI, upon verification with the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), found out that the suspects are not licensed and authorized to recruit workers.
