PUTRAJAYA: A government director-general and a director have been detained by anti-graft authorities for alleged corruption. This is the latest swoop by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) following recent crackdowns on graft involving government agencies, including the Department of Environment (DOE)MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki confirmed the duo were detained on Wednesday (Feb 11). "They were detained when they presented themselves at the MACC headquarters to have their statements recorded," he told a special media session on Wednesday. MORE TO COME
