The Pydhonie Police recently arrested two persons who allegedly duped a businessman to the tune of Rs 6.85 lakh. One of the accused claimed to be a Customs officer and on the pretext of providing the victim laptops lying with Customs for auction at throw away prices induced him to pay money through RTGS. "Chauhan, who is the mastermind of the fraud had introduced Tiwari to Mozawala as a Customs officer. He added, over a period of time, the duo induced Mozawala to pay them Rs 6.85 lakh through RTGS and cheque. "They later started avoiding Mozawala after which he made inquiries about the duo and learned that they impersonated as Customs officer and duped him.
