Our Special CorrespondentTangra: Police have arrested two men on the charge of murdering Trinamul worker Babu Sarkar in China Town on Friday night. Cops picked him up from the Tangra area hours after Sarkar was stabbed to death, the police said. Sarkar, a contractor and supplier of construction material, was called to the party office on Friday night by a business rival and Trinamul worker named Barka. As news of the stabbing spread, officers of Tangra police station fanned out across the area and picked up Mandal. "Preliminary investigations suggest the murder was the result of business rivalry," an officer said.
