BUTTERWORTH: Two Bangladeshi workers died after being crushed by a pallet heap containing boxes of dates. The incident took place at a factory in Bukit Mertajam, Penang at around 11am today (May 5). The victims died on the spot and their bodies were pulled out of the heap by their colleagues. A spokesman from the Fire and Rescue Department said the pallet and boxes of dates fell on the victims when they were retrieving them from a rack that was three-storeys high. The victims were certified dead when they were sent to the hospital.
