KOTA KINABALU: A group of fishermen who ignored warnings about strong winds and rough seas ended up stranded at sea, with two feared drowned. The three men paddled further out to sea but later tried to return to the fishing boat but their boat capsized due to rough weather. Some time later however, their supply of food and water fell into the sea due to strong waves. The six fishermen who remained on board the fishing boat decided to paddle to an island they saw from a distance. A search and rescue operation is still ongoing for the two missing fishermen.
