The second fault on Aurora Energy's network within 24 hours cut power to some residents in Queenstown today. Aurora Energy said on social media this morning it sent a response crew at the site of the fault in Glenorchy-Queenstown Rd. The fault comes after a pole failure in Ventry St, Alexandra, last night, which cut power to a number of residents. The pole failure was the third in Alexandra since August. Comment is being sought from Aurora Energy.
