Peter Nunn and his company Vistic has created a job website which centres around skills-matching and training. Two Taranaki entrepreneurs have launched websites aiming to make it easier to connect job seekers with work. It also allowed people to match with jobs they may not have thought of, but for which they have suitable skills, Nunn said. Job Hop, the website for casual jobs, allows people to advertise that they are looking for work. The Ministry of Social Development has been assisting Job Hop making sure it met its legal obligations.
