Police have identified the dead as Md Mohiuddin and Probal Das. Mohiuddin lost control while driving his motorbike at Aulia Mazar Gate in Anwara Upazila and fell on the ground. Locals rushed him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead, said ASI Alauddin Talukder of DMCH police outpost. A car hit Probal Das while he was crossing a street in Nazu Mia Hat neighbourhood, the ASI told bdnews24.com. “Locals brought him to the hospital where he was declared dead,” he said adding that the car fled the scene.
