Two people died in a grisly road accident that involved two Canters and a motorcycle at Car Wash near Maseno University. The accident caused a traffic snarl up as the police removed the wreckage on the busy Kisumu-Busia Highway. Witnesses said one of the tankers was heading to Kisumu when the driver lost control and knocked a boda boda rider who was heading the same direction. Kisumu West police boss Mechack Kiptum said they are investigating the matter to establish the cause of the accident. The two vehicles and the motorcycle were towed to Maseno police station.
