The accident occurred around midnight on Wednesday in the Upazila’s Haris Chowdhury Bazar area on the Subarnachar-Shonapur road, said Charjabbar Police Station OC Nizam Uddin. A CNG autorckshaw was headed from Chairmanghat to Shonapur when it collided with a battery-run autorickshaw travelling in the opposite direction. Four passengers were injured in the crash. “Kalam and Jashim died while undergoing treatment at Noakhali Sadar Hospital,” said OC Uddin. qOne of the injured, Jahangir, has been taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, while the other, Ismail, has been admitted to Subarnachar Upazila Health Complex, he added.
