The deceased are Agya Kofi, a popular welder at Somanya and a man identified only as Charles at Asuoyaa. According to reports, Agya Kofi, was electrocuted at his mechanic shop while working on a Taxi on Monday. Charles was, however, electrocuted at Asuoyaa in the Akuapem North municipality when attempting to fix a wire allegedly connected illegally to the national grid. The electrical wire had fallen across a river and Charles thought after switching off the circuit there was no electrical current in the wire but got electrocuted when he attempted to lift the wire from the river.
