KARACHI: At least two people died and three others were injured in separate incidents in the metropolis on Wednesday, while the police arrested 21 outlaws and recovered arms, cell phones, cash, bike and drugs during separate actions. Rescue sources said that a labourer Muhammad Haneef, 35, died while his fellow Karam Ali, 40, was injured when the roof of a warehouse in Maripur suddenly caved in on them. Armed robbers shot at and injured two citizens upon resistance during a robbery attempt in the jurisdiction of Super Highway Police Station. The people present near the scene held one robber while his cohort managed to escape. Separate cases regarding all of these incidents were registered at concerned police stations and investigations were initiated.
