more-inMumbai: At least two persons were killed and one gravely injured when two trucks collided on the Western Express Highway in Kandivali, late on Friday. The trucks were transporting fish to Crawford Market before heading towards Karnataka. On the way, one of the drivers lost control on a slippery stretch of the WEH, and the truck overturned. The two cleaners in the first truck died on the spot, while the fatally injured driver was shifted to a nearby hospital with the help of the fire brigade and the Mumbai Police. A part of the Western Express Highway was closed to traffic while authorities removed the truck which was blocking traffic.
