A man and a woman identified by police as an “innocent bystander” are dead following a targeted shooting outside a crowded North York bowling alley late Saturday. The man, identified by police as Thanh Tien Ngo, 32, was found unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds on the ground outside Playtime Bowl & Entertainment in the Samor Rd. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman, Ruma Amar, 29, whom Toronto police Detective Robert Choe identified as a bystander, was also found with gunshot wounds outside the building. Ngo appeared to be the victim of a targeted attack, Choe said in a news conference at the scene Sunday.
