Two people have been killed and a third has been injured in a serious crash on State Highway 1 in South Waikato. A truck and car collided about 1km south of the Tokoroa Golf Course about 8.30am. A St John spokesperson said two people were dead and one had suffered moderate injuries. A witness who arrived at the scene after the crash said the truck and car were at the side of the road. Ambulances had left the scene and police were at the crash site.
