ALIGARH: Two died while at least seven suffered injuries as a blast rocked Bimanagar locality under Banna Devi police station of Aligarh at 6.30 am on Friday.At least six houses collapsed under the impact of the blast while a dozen shops and vehicles were damaged.The explosion could be heard even five km away from the blast site.The administration quickly began rescue operations immediatly after the incident.Although some officials said it was likely a gas cylinder blast, local people said the whole area was engulfed in white smoke after the blast.
