The collision, involving a black Jeep Cherokee and a black VW Golf, happened in Wednesbury, in the West Midlands, at about 10.30pm on Friday, said police. The men, aged 21 and 37, were pronounced dead at the scene despite the emergency services' efforts to save them. The three survivors who were seriously injured remained in hospital on Saturday as West Midlands Police investigated the cause of the crash on the A41 Black Country New Road. "Officers were called to reports of a collision involving a black Jeep Cherokee and a black VW Golf, near to Patent Shaft Roundabout just after 10.30pm. Sergeant Alan Hands from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “We’re currently working to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision and whether any other vehicles were involved.
