Two police officers died on the spot and 10 passengers injured in an accident at Waa on the Likoni-Lunga Lunga highway in Kwale. The morning accident involved a tuk tuk and a matatu that was heading to Lunga Lunga from Likoni. Matuga OCPD Joel Chesire said the bodies of the officers were taken to Coast General Hospital mortuary. "The two officers were in the tuk tuk. According to Chesire, the two officers were heading to work at Magandia roadblock when the accident occurred.
