ĐÀ NẴNG — Two college programmes at the Đà Nẵng University of Science and Technology were officially recognised as passing the quality level of the ASEAN University Network (AUN). The two programmes of the Đà Nẵng University UST also had the highest scores among 65 programmes assessed by the AUN in Việt Nam so far. Education and Training Deputy Minister Bùi Văn Ga hailed the “impressive” assessment results achieved by Đà Nẵng University UST, stressing that educational quality assessment was compulsory to all universities and colleges in Việt Nam. “The Đà Nẵng University UST has made an example for us to further increase the number of high-quality programmes in the higher education system,” he said. Việt Nam so far has some 90 college programmes accredited by international and regional educational quality assessment organisations like the AUN-QA and the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
