A trader in Kendu Bay lost his two children on Thursday morning after they drowned while swimming in a river. Damian Ochieng, 9, and his brother Alphonse Beven, 5, died while swimming in river Wang’ Adonji. Their father, James Agwenge, is a trader at Kendu Bay town. He said local divers helped in retrieving the bodies before they were moved to Kendu Bay Adventist Hospital Mortuary. I call on parents to be keen in monitoring movement of their children during this season,” Okuome said.
