A 46-year-old man has been flown to hospital with serious head injuries after a two-car crash in Canterbury. Emergency services attended the crash on Carters Rd between Hudsons and Englishs roads, near Lincoln, just after 12.38pm on Sunday. A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said fire crews freed the man as he was trapped in his car, which had rolled. Westpac Rescue Helicopter crew chief Rick Knight said the 46-year-old man, who was driving one of the cars, was flown to Christchurch Hospital with serious head injuries.
