General News of Tuesday, 13 January 2026Source: www.ghanaweb.comTwo occupants of a KIA Mini Truck, a male and a female, were burnt beyond recognition following a collision with a DAF truck at Offinso Old Town in the Ashanti Region on Monday, January 12, 2026. According to eyewitness accounts, the DAF truck collided with the KIA Mini Truck while attempting to avoid an oncoming vehicle during an overtaking manoeuvre. The impact caused both trucks to somersault and veer off the road, after which the KIA Mini Truck burst into flames. The KIA Mini Truck was completely destroyed by the fire, while the DAF truck sustained partial damage. The charred bodies of the deceased occupants of the KIA Mini Truck were handed over to the Police for further investigations.
