JAMMU: Two youths were booked on Thursday for allegedly disrespecting the national anthem at a function in Rajouri district on Wednesday, where governor N N Vohra was the chief guest.The accused — students of Baba Ghulam Shah University (BGSU) — reportedly didn't stand up and were clicking selfies while the anthem was being played during the valedictory function of the Silver Rolling Trophy at the institute. Many top officers, including the deputy commissioner and senior superintendent of Rajouri Police were present at the event.Cops filed an FIR against the two under the Prevention of Insult to National Honour Act. Students and residents condemned the action, terming it an attempt to attract attention.
