The two bodies were found in a car near the Mangatutu Hot Springs, a naturally-occuring hot spring owned by DOC in the Kaweka Forest Park. Photo: NZ HeraldThe bodies of a male and a female have been found in a car near the Mohaka River today. Emergency services are on the scene and it's understood the car was situated near Mangatutu Hot Springs, about 80 kilometres north west of Napier, where the bodies were discovered about midday. The Mangatutu Hot Springs are at the end of Puketitiri Rd, a gravel road on the edge of Kaweka Forest Park. The Department of Conservation owns a free campsite near the hot springs.
