KEPALA BATAS: Two teenagers were killed after the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a car driven by a suspected drunk driver at KM13 of the Butterworth Outer Ring Road (BORR) on Tuesday (Feb 11) morning. The victims, 21-year-old Muhamad Syaiful Hilmi Rosidi and his 19-year-old friend Muhammad Amin Najmi Azaman, were killed on the spot in the 2.30am incident. "The accident occurred on the left lane of the road when the car hit the rear of the motorcycle carrying the two victims, causing them to be thrown off the motorcycle. "The motorcycle also caught fire due to the impact of the crash," he said in a statement. ACP Noorzainy said the driver of the car would be remanded for four days from Tuesday.
