Two armed Pokot bandits from Tiaty subcounty were gunned down and a gun seized at Mukutani, Baringo on Sunday. The bandits were shot dead as police stepped up security in the area ahead of the Jubilee primaries which started on Monday. "We have deployed security personnel in the ongoing security operation to flush out bandits in Baringo and Laikipia counties."
