The explosion occurred at 8:30 am in Ban Thungyao village in Tambon Khokpho of Pattani’s Khokpho district. The two assistants were identified as Maroni Hamaleh, 42 and Trusdil Sohmarn, 45. The two rushed to inspect of Mazda pick-up truck, which was believed to have been robbed from a gunned down assistant village head in Songkhla.
