PETALING JAYA: Two people have been arrested by police for allegedly insulting Islam in relation to the death of PAS spiritual leader Datuk Dr Haron Din on social media. Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar confirmed the arrests at a press conference on Monday. The two men, a 62-year-old and a 50-year-old strategic communications consultant, were arrested in Bandar Utama and Shah Alam on Monday morning. Dr Haron, 76, passed away due to heart complications at a hospital in the United States on Friday. Let there be peace” soon after Dr Haron’s passing.
