(ANSA) – ROME, Sept 23 – Two young Moroccan men were arrested earlier this week on suspicion of stealing luxury watches in Milan, police said on Friday. Police said the man was arrested after searching the Internet for a model similar to the one he stole from a Mexican tourist in a city in northern Italy to find out its value. The pair, who are 22 and irregular minors, have also been charged with theft of another watch. One of them was accused of assaulting, pushing, pulling and robbing a tourist in a Royal Oak model €20,000 Audemars Piguet in less than a month in the fashion mecca of Via Montenapoleone. Another man has been charged with stealing an Aquanaut model Patek Philippe on another street in central Milan on September 14.
