Two women died and a 2-year-old child was injured in a shooting at a Texas college residence hall Monday morning, the school said. Officials at Texas A&M University-Commerce received a call at 10:17 a.m. from a student at the residence hall, where they found the deceased women and wounded child, university police Chief Bryan Vaughn said in a short news conference. Mr. Vaughn said there are no ongoing threats, but wouldn’t say whether the women were students or who the shooter may have been.
