Two Timaru teens are eagerly waiting to hear whether they have broken national water skiing records. Timaru Boys' High School student Will Gibson, 15, and Craighead Diocesan School student Alex Brown, 15, broke records in Whanganui recently, with confirmation pending. The previous record was a jump of 51.6 metres, and he may have broken it with a jump of 53.1m. Alex has potentially broken the under 14 junior girls jump record with a jump of 28.8m.
