Two Taj Palace hotels have made it to the list of top 10 best hotels in Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2019. On what makes Taj Lake Palace and Rambagh Palace distinct, Rohit Khosla, executive vice-president, Operations, North, IHCL, said, “The palace hotels are awe-inspiring and the moment the guests enter, they are treated in splendour exactly like the royals. Seven Taj hotels have featured in five categories: The Best Hotels in the World, Top 15 Hotels in India, The Best Resorts in the World, Top 30 Resorts in the Indian Ocean and Top Hotels in Africa. Both Lake Palace and Rambagh Palace hotels also feature in the Top 15 Hotels in India category, with Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur, ranked 1 and Rambagh Palace, Jaipur, at second place. Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, claimed rank 9, followed by Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur, at 11 and Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur, at 12.
