President Dr Arif Alvi has said that the Two Nation Theory has been proven right by history and time, and the younger generation needs to be educated about the ideology of Pakistan through the latest technological tools. Addressing the participants, President Alvi stressed the need for benefiting from the principles of international relations, given by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through his Uswa-e-Husna [good conduct] and Khulfa-e-Rashideen [Rightly Guided Caliphs]. Dr Alvi emphasized developing the Pakistan Movement’s oral history archives, saying it was highly important for the new generation to be aware of the struggle of Pakistan’s founding fathers. Separately, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar held a meeting with President Alvi in Lahore at Governor’s House. President Alvi appreciated the Punjab Aab-e-Pak water projects, steps taken for the solution of overseas Pakistanis’ issues and reforms in the universities.
