The two, Deputy Speaker Moses Otee (Angurai South ward representative) and his Angurai North counterpart Maurice Chetambe were previously close allies of Mr Ojaamong. They are both from Teso North sub-county, Mr Ojaamong's backyard. The two claimed Mr Otuoma won the disputed ODM party nominations. The disputed party primaries have seen a number of aspirants choose to vie for various seats in the August 8 polls as independent candidates.
