The Chairman of the Hajj Board, Ben Abdallah Banda confirming these unfortunate events, stated that the deceased were buried according to Islamic rites. In a contrasting turn of events, the Hajj pilgrimage also witnessed the miracle of life. A Ghanaian woman among the pilgrims gave birth to a healthy baby during the Hajj in the sacred city of Mecca on Wednesday.
