Two CU students held with cheating devices

Two students of Chittagong University (CU) have been detained for carrying electronic devices allegedly to be used for cheating during the university’s admission test on Friday. Ishtiaq Ahmed Sourav, a fourth-year student of marketing and former assistant secretary of the dissolved Bangladesh Chhatra League committee in the CU, was detained on Thursday evening. He provided information that led to the capture of Sourav. “Based on information provided by Shariful, we arrested Sourav,” the police official added. When contacted, CU Proctor Ali Akbar said both students had been suspended from the university.
