Picture by Nilotpal BhattacharjeeSilchar, Sept. 1: A private tutor, who was arrested last night for allegedly killing a nine-year-old girl, was today sent to five-day police custody by a court here. The girl's father said the student of Class II had gone to private tutor Ajoy Ree's house on Sunday afternoon. Ree's house was a 15-minute walk for the girl. The search revealed that the girl was last seen at a shop owned by one Dilip Singh near Ree's residence. Police sources said Ree told interrogators that he had gone out on the day of the incident.
