[iStockphoto]Followers of Jesus were first called “Christians” at Antioch because observers saw their ways mirroring those of Jesus. But the church is not reaping as big from the resultant political association – pointing to a church with a weak bargaining power. In the Antioch audit spirit, let us observe some reasons why Christian spirituality in its present form struggles to make an impact. It would not be surprising if many would still be praying,“…your Kingdom come” while the kingdom long came! The spiritual strategies need not follow the political calendar because Kenya needs a long exorcism mission.
